On 21st May, 2011, Beijing Hengju was awarded the bidding of Nimr-E field trial project from PDO.
Nimr E is categorized as a heavy oil field supported by strong bottom-water drive. Based on the comparison of three EOR recovery methods (i.e. Polymer, High Pressure steam and Insitu Combustion (ISC)), polymer flooding is selected as the preferred EOR method to progress towards the field test. Rely on the abundant strength and with wise, resolute decision-making leadership, Beijing Hengju finally pulls ahead and won the bid in the fierce bidding competition.
Beijing Hengju is responsible for a series of related services for the project, including design, procurment, construction, installation, commissioning, as well as supply related chemicals. This is another major success for Beijing Hengju to explore overseas EPC projects market associated with polymer after Yemen and Indonisia projects, and it is of great benefit for Beijing Hengju to occupy international polymer market.
